Upworthy
upworthy.com, Internal Tools, and Brand Guidelines
creative direction — ux/ui — digital — social
From 2015–2018, I led the design and creative direction of Upworthy’s websites, social media, and internal tools. Early on, I was the entire creative team. I collaborated daily with software engineers and data scientists to conduct user testing and collect quantitative data. I managed the brand’s design systems and UI toolkits through a rebrand and an acquisition by Good Media Group.

We also used 3rd part tools to run quantitative tests, constantly improving site performance.
I led visual QA for all our websites across all devices and browsers.
As a member of the Product & Engineering team, I often led research projects.
